The angry-looking deep sea anglerfish has a right to be cranky. It is quite possibly the ugliest animal on the planet, and it lives in what is easily Earth's most inhospitable habitat: the lonely, lightless bottom of the sea.

There are more than 200 species of anglerfish, most of which live in the murky depths of the Atlantic and Antarctic oceans, up to a mile below the surface, although some live in shallow, tropical environments. Generally dark gray to dark brown in color, they have huge heads and enormous crescent-shaped mouths filled with sharp, translucent teeth. Indonesian Rare Deer

Bawean deer is one of the rarest deer in the world. This species are only exist in Bawean Island in the middle of Java Sea.


Bawean deer has brown skin. The male has three antlers which can grow up to 25-47 cm. It's used by male for fight over female deer on breeding season. They are actively looking for food at night. Most bawean deer living in the natural forest and teak forest in the western island of bawean.

Look at the picture above! haha.. It seems like using red lipstick, doesnt it? The name of this fish is Rosy-lipped Batfish. It's found in costa rica, this fish also called as batfish because if we see from above its really like a bat. Moreover, some people said it looks like sullen old lady. LOL.

This fish is one of unique marine fish because of its face. haha.. Besides, it's included lazy fish. They are not a good swimmer but using their fish fin to walk.

Who Says Tortoise Cannot Run..?!

Tortoise is known as animal who can't run quickly. Almost all people said like that. Do you know that not all species tortoise walk so slowly. Have you ever heard about Carretochelys Insculpta, we often call it as 'fly river turtle, pig head or pig snout' (in Indonesia it's called 'kepala babi atau moncong babi')? Yaps, this species is not like the others. They are ablo to run fast when something comes close. I was surprised when saw this video below.

Carretochelys Insculpta is an original animal from Indonesia and they live in Papua Rivers. Almost all of its life is spent in water, of course they aren't like tortoise mostly. 'Fly river turtle' will go to ground when the time to lay eggs comes.

We called they as 'pig head or pig snout' because they have nose resemble pig nose. You can see from the picture above. Today the number of this specieses are less than before, because their life is threatened of smuggling which is done to China and Taiwan as medicine.
